BTEC wins gold in media competition

BTEC recently won a gold award in the international 2024 Hermes Creative Awards competition for its Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Process Overview video. The awards competition recognizes outstanding work in the traditional and emerging media  industry. In this year’s competition, more than 6,500 entries were submitted from across the United States, Canada and 30 other countries.

The Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Process Overview video, which was produced by BTEC’s subject matter experts and media specialists, is used frequently in BTEC’s academic and industry training courses to introduce learners to the various processes used to produce biopharmaceuticals. A sample of the video appears above.

Content for the 11-minute video was created by:

Media design and production was provided by BTEC’s Brian Herring, instructional media developer, and Jason Whitley, instructional designer. Voice-over narration was provided by former BTEC staffer Hunter Brown.

The Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession. A list of platinum and gold winners can be found on the Hermes Creative Awards website.
