ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) is a global, not-for-profit membership organization that provides education, training and technical publications to pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals.

The Student Chapter at NC State is focused on increasing the awareness of employment opportunities in the health care industry.  It is oriented towards strengthening the relationship between local industry and college students.  ISPE believes that forums for the exchange of ideas and practical experience are excellent opportunities for both students and industry.

The pharmaceutical industry requires a wide variety of talents to support one of the most technologically advanced process industries operating in the world today.  Whether your training is in engineering, information technology, the biological and chemical sciences, management, law, language or literature, the pharmaceutical industry has a need for your expertise.

Student Chapter events typically involve local pharmaceutical professionals and represent an excellent opportunity for networking. Proximity to and coordination with the local Carolina-South Atlantic (CASA) chapter further encourages professional development activities.
