Industry Professionals Connections
We facilitate introductions between educators and industry professionals interested in supporting educational opportunities, such as career/day-in-the-life insights, mock interviews, resume review, and in-person or virtual guest speaker events. If you are an educator, email leslie_lewis@ncsu.edu for more information. If you are an industry professional, sign up below.
Facility Tours
High schoolers and their parents are invited to sign up for one of the scheduled walk-through tours of BTEC’s simulated CGMP pilot plant facility, featuring more than 43,700 gross square feet of lab training space.
Student Field Trips
BTEC hosts visits by groups of high school students enrolled in classes with a curriculum that includes biomanufacturing or advanced manufacturing principles. Visits typically last 1.5 hours and include a presentation that provides an overview of biomanufacturing and genetic engineering, a hands-on activity and a tour of the facility. Ideal group sizes are 10-40 students. For more information or questions, email Leslie Lewis at leslie_lewis@ncsu.edu.
