What is BTEC’s address?
BTEC’s address is 850 Oval Drive, Raleigh, NC 27606.
When does the class start and end?
BTEC’s professional development courses typically begin at 8:00 a.m. each day and are scheduled to end by 5:00 p.m. Please be sure to check the pre-course email sent by [email protected] to see what time your course starts and ends as some courses differ. It’s recommended that you arrive to class ~10 minutes early on the first day.
What do I wear while I’m in the lab?
For lab activities, you must wear long pants, slacks, or trousers with socks that both extend to and cover up your ankles, and flat comfortable closed-toe shoes or heels no more than a height of 1.5 inches. No capri pants, shorts, skirts or jewelry (with the exception of a smooth band) are allowed in the labs. Necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)—lab coats, gloves and safety glasses are provided by BTEC.
Where do I park?
If you purchased a virtual parking permit (cost is $10 per day), you can park in the Partners Way Parking Deck, located at 851 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606. There is a permit entrance sign and a digital sign near the entrance indicating how many parking spaces are available. If you have not yet purchased a parking permit, please check your email, including your spam folder, for an email from [email protected] to claim your permit.

Where can I eat while I’m on campus?
On the Oval and the Centennial Market are the main dining options on Centennial Campus; these are about a 6 minute walk from BTEC. Another option is Common Grounds Café, which is approximately a 7 minute walk from BTEC. For most courses, participants will receive a conference dining card that works similarly to a debit card and can be used at the three dining locations mentioned.
How far is BTEC from the RDU airport?
BTEC is approximately a 25-minute drive from the RDU airport (this is dependent upon traffic). You will want to allow for up to 40 minutes of travel time when the course ends.
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
Yes, you will receive a physical certificate of completion at the end of the course after you complete a post-course survey.
How long do I have access to the digital course materials?
Typically, you will receive access a day before the course begins. Access to materials is delayed for late registrants. Access will end one week after a course ends and cannot be extended. Presentations may be downloaded, however, please be aware materials cannot be shared with anyone else as noted in BTEC’s policy.
